Requirements for obtaining specific activity visas

  1. 1. You are a foreign student who has graduated (or completed) from an undergraduate or graduate program at a university (excluding junior colleges) under the School Education Act of Japan and is currently residing in Japan with a "Student" visa.
  2. 2. The applicant must have no problems with academic performance or conduct while enrolled at the university, have started entrepreneurial activities while enrolled at the university, and be recommended by the university.
  3. 3. A business plan has been prepared, and the business content to be started in Japan is clear based on the plan, the company or corporation's registration certificate, and other documents. The applicant will establish a corporation and start a business within six months of graduation, and apply for permission to change his/her status of residence to "Business Manager". The content of the application falls under the activities listed in the lower column of the "Investment/Business Management" section of Appendix 6-XNUMX of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, and is expected to meet the standards set forth in the Ministerial Ordinance prescribing the standards of Article XNUMX, Paragraph XNUMX, Item XNUMX of the same Act.
