Requirements for obtaining education visas
- ● If the applicant engages in the activity of providing education at various schools or equivalent educational institutions regarding equipment and organization, or if the applicant engages in the activity of providing education for positions other than teaching at educational institutions other than these, Both of the following ① and ② apply.However, if the applicant is a school or an educational institution equivalent to this in terms of facilities and organization, elementary or secondary education is provided in a foreign language to children residing with a diplomatic or official residence status or a dependent residence status. If you are engaged in educational activities at an educational institution established for the purpose of providing education, you must fall under ①.
- ① You have a license for education that graduates from a university, or receives education equivalent to or higher than this.
- ・"University" includes junior colleges, graduate schools, and affiliated research institutes.
- ・"Education equivalent to or higher than university" includes education equivalent to or higher than that of a junior college, and therefore includes education received in the 4th and 5th years of a college of technology, for example. ..
- ・"License related to the education you intend to attend" includes both Japanese and foreign licenses.
- ② If you intend to teach a foreign language, you must have received at least 12 years of education in that foreign language, and if you intend to teach other subjects, you must have 5 years of education in that subject at an educational institution. Must have practical experience in the above areas.
- ・"By the foreign language" means that the education was conducted in that foreign language and that the teacher taught in that foreign language.
- ① You have a license for education that graduates from a university, or receives education equivalent to or higher than this.
