Settlers Visa "Spouse of Nikkei 2" category
If the foreign national (applicant) is the spouse (husband or wife) of a second-generation Japanese, they are classified into the following three categories.
The type of attached document differs when applying.
- "Category 1"
- Nikkei 2 people are working for a company etc.
- "Category 2"
- When Japanese Nation 2 is self-employed etc
- "Category 3"
- When the Japanese 2 world is unemployed

Points to note when preparing application documents
- 1. Please submit all certificates issued in Japan within the period of 3 months from issue date.
- 2. If the documents to be submitted are in foreign languages, please attach a translation.
